Lexa scowls, frustration flickering across her face. Before she can push for more, the woman’s head tilts, curiosity sparking in those too-blue eyes.
"And you?" she asks, voice light and curious. "What is your name, gorgeous?"
Lexa blinks, thrown off for just a second by the adjective. "That’s not relevant."
The woman’s smile grows slowly into a playful smirk. "It is to me."
Lexa presses the dagger firmer. "You are the one with a blade to your throat."
The stranger studies her, head tilting just slightly, eyes gleaming. "How about an offer?"Lexa doesn’t move. "This is not a negotiation."
"So the one holding the dagger gets to have their questions answered, is that it?"
Lexa lifts an eyebrow. "You could say so."
