When her mother gets herself into rehab, again, Toni has to go live with her father, who has never seen her before, and his religious family in a small town in Texas. She is fully prepared to spend her time there like a ghost, barely there and then gone and forgotten, but a certain blonde has other plans and Toni finds it impossible to deny her anything. Will Toni be okay with them being just friends after Shelby has made it clear that this is all they are going to be, or will Shelby give in? Lots of angst and feelings.

Summary
A story about an unlikely partnership between a young Caitlyn in her early years of training to become an Enforcer and a young Vi desperate to prove herself to Vander. Watch them slowly overcome their differences, start to respect and then like each other and ultimately fall in love.
I wrote this because a) their younger versions looked adorable, and b) because I wanted their relationship to be more of a slowburn than it was on the show.
(AU in which Vander was not captured by Silco and everyone is alive.)
