After Ashford, Aerion nurses his wounded pride in Lys, leaning into two deeply inconvenient things: a taste for pain and a fixation on the hedge knight who put him in the dirt.
At Storm’s End, meanwhile, Dunk tries very hard to be sensible, honourable, and as far away as possible from the silver-haired terror haunting his every thought.
The prince means to make him pay, and the hedge knight means to keep his heart out of it.
Naturally, neither plan survives first contact.

Un-goddamn-believable.
