Summary
I should go up there and help him, Miles thinks, and stands up straight to stare at where Green Goblin and the Prowler have Spider-Man pinned down.
And in the five seconds between the thought and the realization that hey, maybe not, all Miles can think is, but I have no way to get up there.

“Someone needs to teach you about privacy, lo juro por dios,” Miguel mutters, shoving aside a second crate, lip curling. Miles’s breath stutters, even before Miguel spits, “Te pasas. Last chance, Morales. Don’t make this worse for yourself.”
Worse? Miles thinks dimly. How? How could this be worse?
And yet, watching those claws sink into metal, shaking with fury? Feeling blood trickle down his suit, staining the lab’s pristine floor?
He knows exactly how it could be worse.

Or, Miles goes to apologize to Miguel after getting injured and hears a conversation he shouldn’t have. -

Summary
Ch. 3 - "In an idle sort of way, none of them had expected for Noir’s blood to be black. None of them had expected that their sudden appearance would be just the distraction that the Lizard had needed. None of them had expected for that very black and very unexpected blood to be painting the wall behind him as Lizard’s claws dug into his flesh, and sent his body flying limply to hit the wall with a wet-sounding smack." - A story based on recovery, color, and the knowledge that you're not alone.
