Eventually both boys end up in the same area of Tokyo after college and Zu ends up befriending a fun group of people his age. Turns out they are also Katsuki's friends...

Sometimes, when he went to the grocery store to run errands for his mother, he found himself looking at the comic section almost nostalgically, wondering if Katsuki ever had moments like that too, thinking about Izuku at random times.
The full moon was out, and it looked so beautiful that Izuku wished his eyes were a camera that could capture the moment forever.
Instead, he pulled out his phone to take a quick picture. That was when he noticed the notification.

As the distance between them grows, Bakugo finds himself picking fights just to get a reaction, any reaction, but the anger he's used to doesn't come back. Instead, he's left facing something unfamiliar, something uncomfortable, something he doesn't have a name for.
Because for the first time, Midoriya isn't chasing him.
And Bakugo doesn't know how to deal with being the one left behind.

Summary
In the aftermath of The Owl House Season 2 finale, Luz, Amity, Willow, Gus and Hunter find themselves stranded in the Human Realm while everything and everyone they love remains behind in the Demon Realm.
As Camila opens her home to the group, old wounds begin to surface, new bonds are forged, and everyone is forced to confront the trauma they have been desperately trying to outrun. Healing isn't quick, returning home won't be easy, and sometimes the greatest battles aren't fought with magic at all.
A character-driven, emotional reimagining of Season 3 that explores the quieter moments the series never had time to show. Expect plenty of hurt/comfort, family dynamics, recovery, humour, and healing, with references and callbacks to the earlier seasons.
This story is somewhat canon compliant, Think of it as my version of Season 3 if we'd simply had more time. It starts slow but slowly picks up.
Updates: Motivation-based schedule. I update whenever inspiration strikes, but I promise this story is very much alive.

Katsuki stood on the roof of a six storey apartment block and watched neon signs flicker through the drizzle below. Half of them were broken, and the other half probably wished they were. Vibrant hues of cerulean rainwater gathered in potholes, rust crawled up fire escapes, graffiti layered over graffiti. He lit a cigarette and leant against the rusted railing, which immediately creaked under his weight.
“Piece of shit.”
A train rattled overhead somewhere in the distance, shaking loose dust from buildings. Music drifted from an apartment window below, some old pop song from before he was born. He took a drag from the cigarette and glanced toward the stairwell door. Still making him wonder where the hell he was.
“You waiting for someone?”
He nearly launched the cigarette into orbit. The voice came from behind, naturally. Izuku stood beside another rooftop entrance with his hands shoved awkwardly into the pockets of a dark jacket. His curled green hair had grown past his shoulders, giving the effortlessly unkempt look that he'd lost a fight with both a brush and with common sense. Rain had dampened the ends. His glasses were slightly crooked, and one lens had a crack running through the corner.

Izuku snapped his head up at the rattling of his desk. Smelled like smoke… smoke?! A cluster of orange sparks danced across his desk, eating away at a sheet of notebook paper. One of which had landed directly on his sleeve.
“A-ah-!” He blew hard swatting his hand back and forth to put out the fire quickly.
“Let me help.” Izuku looked up almost thanking him, Katsuki, but how could he be that stupid? Katsuki doesn’t help.

Izuku is living his dream as a hero with his classmates, currently work studying at Endeavors agency for the summer. But when news breaks of a hero who can drag people to separate dimensions starts getting out, his life takes a turn for the better or worse. (Probably worse).
