Ryoba's grandmother told her that she'd meet her special someone one day. Ryoba believed her and waited... and waited... and waited... but her knight in shining armour never came.
She saw him in her dreams every night, but he eluded her. Even when she was in Akademi, when she was supposed to find her special someone, at the age of 18, just like every woman in her family before her... he didn't come.
Now Ryoba was out of her academy years. She just found the closest boy, Jokichi Yudasei. The student body from Akademi believed they were a power couple, destined to live such a lovely life together, but Ryoba was the only one who saw through the lie.
In the present day, Ryoba wonders what she should do. Leave? Die? Or live with Jokichi and the void.
