Taggie’s lips are smiling and pink and so close.
And, alright. Rupert has never been good at appeasement. He’d never shied away from the dangerous territory of schoolmates' girlfriends and colleagues' wives. But when Rupert promised to leave Taggie alone, he’d honestly meant it. After Declan had relinquished his plans for on-air revenge, it was simply the right thing to do. The honourable thing. His intentions had been as good and pure as possible for a man like himself.
Lips parting, she leans closer to him.
Or: When Rupert promised to stay away from Taggie, he had truly intended on being a man of his word. But alone together in the quiet priory, Taggie is exceedingly hard to avoid. Set immediately after they put Declan to sleep, s1ep5 divergence.
