Guest 1337 doesn’t remember much, besides the suffering and hardships he had gone through from the Bacons. His rage knew no bounds and people suffered one way or another. He has learned to take pleasure in others’ suffering. How else should he process his feelings?
It’s the only thing he knows how to do, after all.
He thinks he loved some people, or someone, at some point. That doesn’t matter now.
They’re probably dead, anyway.
Whatever fleeting, foreign feeling love is to others is long lost for him.
So why did this woman make him feel something that made him not want to hurt her, but rather hold her so close he’d NEVER let her go?
To protect her like she is the duty he had long forgotten but has always yearned for?
Or:
Guest doesn’t remember Daisy, but falls in love with her again. But this love is unhealthy, obsessive even.
The Spectre takes advantage of this.
