Summary
He gasped in pain as the man lifted up his pant leg, snapping out of his memories.
“This looks bad. Dislocated, maybe? I’m no doctor, but I’ll try to pop it back in place. You probably shouldn’t walk on it for a while.”
Tears rolled down his cheeks as the man dug through a suitcase, procuring a rag and shoving it in Sunday’s mouth.
“This is gonna hurt real bad. Stay quiet.” While the man – Gallagher? Was that what the boy called him – frowned at his leg, the teenager climbed into the bed of the truck and took Sunday’s hand in his own. He sniffled as the boy began to hum a familiar tune.
He could taste the blood in his mouth as he dug his teeth into the rag. Gallagher popped his leg back in place with the ease of someone much better suited to the end of the world than himself.
The world fell to black, Robin’s melody lulling him into a restless sleep.

All Sunday Oak wants is to be reunited with his sister. Leaving behind the ruins of the city he once called home, Sunday traverses a post-apocalyptic hellscape littered with the undead to find her. Summary
So far, their dynamic has been disjointed — uncertain as both of them are used to being in control. Sunday is too used to being expected to perform. Though he’s disappeared from the limelight of Penacony, the mannerisms are still etched into his soul. He expects to focus on someone else – to love them in whatever way fits them best and to leave his pleasure forgotten. He has spent his lifetime filling this role, but his mind still lingers on a new concept.
Gallagher dominating him.
He could ruin him. Even in the dark, the outline of his thick muscles is visible and Sunday is hyper-aware that Gallagher is everything he is not. If Sunday is the light, fragile and waning, then Gallagher is the dark, constant and waxing with every moment.
(aka sunday struggles with depression after his fall from grace, so he breaks into gallagher's apartment and they have sex.)

Summary
Something is wrong.
Sunday can tell as much from the moment he wakes up, eyes fluttering open to the soft light the Express uses to mimic morning. It's a sight he’s grown accustomed to, yet today it leaves him with a knot in his throat, with clammy palms sticking to his bedsheets. It is when he draws his first breath of the day, only to find it uneven, that an inkling of something sinks into his bones.
He’s sick, he realizes, and with it comes the fluttering of his heart in his chest, abnormal and abrupt. A rhythm disrupted.
Or: Sunday gets sick, but decides to hide it, not wanting to ruin the crew's plans to go to a karaoke joint. This, of course, blows up in his face.
