Summary

A tale in which Castiel makes a new pledge, Mary makes a new friend, Sam sees it all coming like a freight train, and Dean is bitch-slapped by the power of his soul’s bond with an angel. Summary
The pause over the other end that feels like eternity, then, all at once, Cas says: "I would say you're gorgeous." That makes Dean’s blush grow wider. He can tell that comment wasn’t scheduled programming because of the static, or the clearing of Cas’s throat, that follows, "Uh, I mean, in my head, of course. Given your massive masculinity complex, I would probably try to jumpstart your midlife crisis and recommend a classic car. A mustang, maybe. Predated back at least fifty years."

Something that will make Dean happy. Until it backfires within seconds of touching it. Now rather than bringing Dean a treasure, he has to bring him another problem to figure out. Mostly just smut :)

“You boys need anything else?” Mandy ask when she reappears beside the table, eyes bright and hopeful. “Coffee? Tea?” Her eyes rake over Cas and she bites her lip, sending every signal in the book. “Some dessert?”
Dean grins as Mandy looks between them, mostly at Cas. Cas gives Dean the ‘is that an innuendo?’ squint and Dean nods. “You know in fact we would like some dessert. My buddy here’s kind of shy about it so we were hoping for…something to take back to our room.”
“Really?” Mandy purrs, finally looking at Dean with some interest.
“Yeah, but we were hoping for something we could split.” Mandy’s eyebrows go high just as Cas’s eyes get even narrower. “Anything like that on the menu?”
Mandy looks between the two of them, licking at her lips. “I think I can get something like that for you.”

After a particularly harrowing near-miss in the library, Sam, Cas, and Dean have finally managed to figure out how to fully ward the bunker against angels. Now the feathered dickheads cannot poof in or out. That shouldn’t be a big deal, since Cas can just appear right outside the door and then walk in, or leave the bunker and do what Sam resolutely insists on calling “disapparating,” because he’s a fucking nerd.
Nobody accounted for the eight feet of snow.

“You know I do,” Dean answered, his voice carrying resignation and sadness. He knew Cas was right. This was the only way if he wanted to help save his brother. He had to do it, even though everything in him wanted to fight it. But he trusted Cas with his life. And now he was going to show him just how deep that trust ran.
Dean fell to his knees in front of the angel, bowing his head forward as he was fitted with the extraordinarily heavy collar. Castiel’s fingers caressed his skin when he closed the clasp of the sign of slavery; the symbol that gave Dean’s life over to the angel’s mercy. Dean suppressed the urge to close his eyes.

This is a brief, slightly inconclusive statistical analysis and outline of Dean’s bottoming (& explicit works, & non-con) numbers with respect to Sam and Castiel. Sam and Castiel are used as comparisons as they are the most written pairings with Dean and have the most works in Supernatural overall, after Dean.
