With Harry always on Louis’ mind, it doesn’t take much for him to think back to their conversation from months ago. Before he opens his mouth, he sends a silent, telepathic apology for not holding up his end of the bargain – letting Harry be the first to know. He wants the smug satisfaction of sending him Joshua’s inevitably striking picture without warning for maximum effect. Especially considering he’ll see his boy imminently.
The thrilling and ridiculous thing about odds is that it’s remarkably easy to lose. Louis knows he’s essentially sealing his fate for tonight’s show when he makes the suggestion, but the lads are excited and he is too. Although he might have a little more weight behind why he’s so ready to let Krystle style his hair into what he would consider a throwback to the ghost of Louis past.
