His smile is all smug, betrayed by the pink blotching his cheeks and the tips of his ears. He leans with his forearm against the wall above your head, looking down at you.
“Of course it did,” he says. “Have you seen yourself when you fly?”

Kid grabbed your outstretched arm, yanking you roughly toward him. You winced when he forced you to your feet. “And what makes you think I care about ya bleedin’ out like a pig, doc?” He snarled, face mere inches away from yours.
“You cared enough to enter our ship and attack us. Seems like you need my help as much as I need yours,” you gasped between ragged breaths. It was a long shot but the only one you had.

"They're very close," Choso murmured, his gaze enraptured and half-hooded. He was transfixed to the TV, where two actors from a show you'd haphazardly left playing when you fell asleep were kissing with fervent lips, tongue, and teeth. You watched his throat move as he swallowed, his hands twitching as they rested beside his thighs. The tips of his ears went slightly pink, and then he turned. His eyes fell to your parted lips, the space between you on the couch suddenly not enough, and too much. "What does it mean?"
