Summary

“That was before a fucking castle decided it owed you one,” Draco said. He reached up, and his fingers finally touched her, only softly, only barely, by tucking a stray curl behind her ear. She swallowed loudly and moved her face, her nose almost grazing against his but still keeping along the barrier of nothing.
“Do you want to try?” She replied, her breath cracking. The golden thread was buzzing along her skin, searching for a way through the darkness.
