Summary
Mu Qing had never been excited for his birthdays. They were constant reminders of his mother, and he didn't need images of the dead haunting him. He's a busy god, after all. His dislike for birthdays only intensified when the entire Heavenly Realm just decided he didn't exist in the weeks leading up to his birthday. Normally, it wouldn't hurt when others ignored him or talked shit about him. Mu Qing was used to that. What Mu Qing was not used to, however, was being ignored by the object of his frustrations (and affections). All in all, birthdays were pretty shitty.

Mu Qing is a sad, dumb idiot who thinks no one likes him. Feng Xin, also a sad, dumb idiot wants to show Mu Qing that he is loved. Shenanigans ensue.

“You don’t think…” Shenshen whispered as she watched the scene unfold. “In front of all these people?” Pfannee blinked, pinching himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming as he watched and listened to his friend's advances.
“Elphaba Thropp,” Galinda addressed loudly, her voice cutting through the murmurs of the crowd. “You better let me back into your life this instant!”
