“TAKE THIS, BITCH!” The child throws the crudely made snowball towards him. It falls apart before phasing through him anyway.
“L.” Off to his left, his centuries old friend cackles, tears falling from his eyes. At least the older one tried pretending they didn’t exist, fiddling with nails while pointedly not looking at either of the near-transparent men.
“Tommy, mate, I don’t think you’ll win this snowball fight.” Unsurprisingly, Phil has knelt down to make his own snowball. Tommy snorts in response.
“Like a man as old as yourself could beat me, the biggest man ever, in a snowball fight. I’ll have you know I am a pro-fess-ion-al snowball–”
“Tommy as much as I’m glad you’re enjoying talking to yourself, I would appreciate some help fixing this fence.” The young boy whined, even as he wandered over to help his older brother. Techno took the time to look over to his friend.
“Phil, no. Absolutely not.” Immediately, puppy dog eyes turned his way. “We are literally ghosts. We can’t just– We can’t just adopt a pair of children–”

So'lek paused, for a long time. Romantic? Really? That's what it meant? Tamtey loved him? Romantically? He wanted to be So'lek's mate? Had Tamtey been courting him? Did So'lek not see it? The guy must have not because he hadn't gotten any romantic messages from Tamtey at all.
Did he want to court Tamtey back? Yes. Next question.

When you're little, you dream of becoming something great. To be first at something, or discover something or fuck even be just simple but loved at something so so very simple. Tommy always wanted to be a perfect mage, to become one of the Essempii’s Royal mages. That was what he always wanted. To be of worth to his homeland and protect it, to make children smile by making flashing magic during each festival each year. That's all he found purpose in, dreaming
Aka. Tommyinnit goes on an adventure to try to find the nation of antarctic from the fairytale he's heard not knowing if they are true or not.

All of that was to say that the dragon really could have found a much more valuable target then Techno if it had bothered to look around for more than 5 seconds before grabbing the first long haired royal in view.
Now Techno was stuck in a 70 ft tower in the middle of a forest with only a month’s supply of rations because the dragon had decided to kick the bucket not 3 days after kidnapping him.
Or: Techno gets mistaken for a princess and put in an "abandoned" wizard tower

Tommy's the one to notice the tourist first. There's a park across the street; it's got a few food carts and a place where people like to get drinks, as well as a small armada of tables for open-air dining. It's popular in general, but especially as a tourist destination, and they've pulled off a few little cons there before.
