Summary
The purgills nosed curiously at the large metal-flyer. They trusted their instincts which led them safely through their migrations. Now those same instincts led them here to this out of the way system at the edge of the galaxy, far from their usual routes teeming with metal-flyers, was only the one, nearly drifting as if asleep.
Perhaps it had lost its pod?
Yes, that must be why their pod was led here. They would guide this grieving metal-flyer to others of it's kind so it need not be alone.
Communicating mind-to-mind through the black the pod scattered around the metal-flyer. Their strange rescue was large but the pod was many and they allowed their instincts to dictate their formation.
The purgills picked up speed and as the distant stars streaked blue around them the metal-flyer was swept in their wake.

While taking down a slaver ring, Din and Boba are transported to the past, not that Din knows it at first. Dropped onto Sundari, supposed capital of Mandalore, a planet and people Din believes to be erased, what is he to do? Especially when he hears about a certain Sith, an aruetii, who supposedly stole the title of Mand'alor but is not Mandalorian? Well, Din has to take his lawful place, right? Even if that means picking up strays, reluctantly doing his job of ruling a people, speaking to his (two??) Darksabers, and so so much more.
