“Now you’re just being mean to me” Ivan says, pouting. “You just want to see me begging for a kiss.”
“You said it, not me.” Lovro replies, shrugging. “But who knows? Maybe it works, I don’t know.”
“You’re torturing me on purpose.” Ivan says, staring directly to his mouth again. “I made a mistake. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said anime was just silly japanese cartoons. And that it could never be compared to Fight Club. And that Brad Pitt is hotter than any of those manga characters.”
“Thank you for the apology.” Lovro says unable to hide his smile. “And for the record I could name at least 10 anime characters hotter than Brad Pitt.”
OR: The one where Ivan insults Lovro's favorite anime and Lovro punishes him with no more kisses.

“Hey, she came to me! Like, she actually sought me out, came up to me, and—“ Mario starts, but Filip’s cutting voice talks over him.
“It doesn’t count if she only came over to ask you if Lovro’s into dudes!”
His voice dissolves into a dry, bemused chuckle, casting a glance over at Lovro as if he’ll get a kick out of it too. Mario is chuckling along, after all. But Lovro isn’t laughing, feeling just about every muscle, sense and internal organ seize up on him at the same time.

A rumor about Lovro is spreading around school. It reaches Mario and Filip sooner than he prepares himself for.

“It’s Ivan,” he mumbles finally, fiddling away again. Jakov wishes that meant more to him than it does, giving him a blank stare in return because, really, he knows so many Ivans that it’s hard to pinpoint which one Lovro is talking about. Lovro clicks his tongue, annoyed by that, and then averts his gaze again. “Tomos.”
“Tomos?”

After Lovro fights with Filip, he and Jakov have an overdue conversation over a couple of kebabs.
