You’re insufferable, drifter.” He shook his head, strands of his hair falling into his face.
“I’m not the only insufferable one, Arthur,” I pursed my lips, crossing my arms over my chest. Something twitched in him, his pupils dilating with some sort of primal feeling. He rushed forward, my hips meeting the table as he pushed me back. I felt his lips crash against mine, a low groan rumbling in his throat.
