Summary
The others in the group have varying reactions to their smallest companion; a cheery, middle-aged little halfling who escaped family expectations in the Gate to join a druids' circle. ...20 years ago or so, that is. They were dragged back to those obligations, and would still be minding the family business now, were it not for the Nautiloid. Adventure has a strange way of finding middle-aged halflings who think that adventure is well and truly behind them, though, doesn't it?
Even still, it took them a little while to get used to being permitted to wildshape again- and it took some other companions varying amounts of time to get used to it, too.
(Just a bit of nothing- some vignettes of my Tav. Who may be the only nonbinary halfling druid Tav ever made, to be honest.)

An attempt to explain to myself how Vergil could have possibly, POSSIBLY actually hooked up with a real human woman in Fortuna. And it still feels like a reach, honestly. He does not in any way take the lead, essentially; and someone bold notices how pretty he is.
Or in other words, how Vergil's suspicious nature and a very straightforward stranger leads him to lose his adult virgin status to Nero's mom (who remains unnamed in this).

“I never said they should use real blood,” I replied, “I just suggested they do more research into what dead humans actually look like.”
Ratthi, Amena, Pin-Lee, and one of the dead human actors all turned towards me then and did various versions of blinking slowly.
“...Or they could research what they use in serials to make alive humans look like dead humans. That would probably be less traumatic. And more of a normal thing to do. I think.”
Ratthi nodded slowly. “You know what? I have to agree,” he said, as if I’d said something incredibly smart, and not at all stupid, or what could be read as mildly threatening.
In which Murderbot goes to a haunted attraction with its humans, makes some unhelpful commentary, and finds itself in a tense situation it doesn’t want to be in.

In our private feed, Gurathin sounded…angry, perhaps more so than I’ve ever heard him before. He hadn’t moved, though. And his face remained in its normal “I am currently at rest, but being an asshole is always an option” configuration. He hadn’t subvocalized, and he still appeared to be staring vaguely in the direction of a particularly verdant plant biome. The rest of the PresAux team carried on their human chatter, oblivious.
