The last part of this series!
Kuwabara and Hiei have lived together, bonded as mates, and bonded in marriage for a long time. Years have passed, things have changed and will continue to change, as Kuwabara and Hiei decide they want to have children. As the two try to discover how to expand their family, a secluded race of people who reside in the outskirts of the Makai, are needed to help guide Hiei and Kuwabara.

Summary
Hiei was rarely seen after everything was wrapped up. They all knew he was safe, fulfilled in his own deranged way by his dear friend Mukuro's side. On her rare treks to the human world Mukuro would need official supervision, and Koenma fudged things so that her chaperone would always be Hiei.
Even outside of an official capacity he would still show up now and again.
That is why when Mukuro showed up unannounced, accompanied by a standard spirit world officer to Kurama's door in the dead heat of july... well it was odd. Uncomfortable. A closer look at why she was there left a sense of anxiety and urgency grasping the fox's sense of consciousness. The questions he asks are dodged, all but one given a clear answer.
Yes, Hiei is still alive.
Beyond that she reveals very little, just that Hiei would like Kurama to raise his infant daughter in the living world.
The whole situation digs up past errors he had buried. He tries to hold on, but just how long can he pretend that he is okay with how things ended back then? How many people accidentally break up with the love of their life and then just...concede to the mistake... What made him concede to the mistake in the first place anyways? Summary
An ordinary day becomes hell as Hiei is collared by some sort of seal. Not only does it sap all his energy, it reduces his physical strength to that of a mere human. He's sold off to the highest bidder, a man with a sadistic streak that wants nothing more than to break Hiei's spirit.
Meanwhile, Kurama and allies have to race against the clock to find Hiei before something horrible happens. Leads are scarce and Kurama fears that by time they find him, it may be too late.
