“Buck?” He asks incredulously and his brain couldn’t connect the dots that the person he had been ogling over is his best friend. “Buck, what are you riding?”
“You like it?” Buck gives a beaming smile and his curls are tousled from being confined in the helmet. The curls are loose and soft and not for the first time Eddie wants to touch them. He shakes his head and tries to come back to why he is annoyed in the first place.
“It’s loud,” Eddie stutters out as his brain comes back online. Buck’s smile droops a little as he tilts his head curiously.
“That’s all? It’s loud?” Buck asks as he rests his helmet on his hip. “I can think of a million better adjectives for it.”
“You bought a death trap?” Eddie is fully back and his annoyance rises.
Or After the plane landing that Buck helped clear he gets a bike of his own and Eddie has mixed feelings.

Summary
When TK was 9 his father left. His mother became an alcoholic and drug addict and began to hate TK. Her new husband abused TK both physically and sexually. This all got worse after he came out as gay.

Summary
TK has had problems since the day the towers fell. He has never been a normal kid and now as an adult he wasn't a normal young man. Summary

Summary
Buck is definitely not jealous. He just doesn’t like Tommy. He doesn’t like how he fits into Eddie’s life so easily. He doesn’t like how he’s easy and fun and cool and exciting, and Buck is sure Eddie is going to realize it and Buck is going to be replaced and lose everything.
Instead of talking about it, Buck decides that he can be fun too. Then Eddie gets hurt and it’s all his fault. Buck will do anything to be good again so Eddie will forgive him. Even if he hurts himself doing it.
Eddie doesn’t realize until it’s too late that Buck wasn’t just acting out, he was scared. And now he’s dropping hard.

"Is it your leg?" Eddie whispers as he gives Buck's shoulder blade a gentle squeeze. Buck nods his head without even lifting his face from the pillow and whimpers quietly.
Eddie sits on the edge of the couch, wraps his fingers around Buck's leg and scoots closer so he can rest Buck's leg on his lap.
"Hey." Eddie says when Buck tries to get his leg free from Eddie's touch. "Let me see."

Buck tilts his head backwards and rests his head against Eddie’s arm, and looks up at him with his shiny doe eyes. “Hey.” He closes his eyes as Eddie brings his face closer to lock their lips softly.
“Why are you awake?” Eddie asks him, and then plants another kiss on his forehead.
Buck melts into Eddie’s touch and turns slightly to his side to bury his face into the crook of Eddie’s neck as Eddie wraps his arms around him and pulls him close.
Buck lets out a quiet sigh before he speaks. “I can’t sleep.”
