Seriously, though, is there any bottom to this? Is he just going to keep falling forever?
And then the wet mud and fresh smell of rain knocks his breath from his lungs as he hits a forest floor. Hard.
Pain blooms in his head and he sees he must have hit it on a rock. Surely, that is why he is hallucinating right now. Because there are no places like this in New Eridu. That is the only logical explanation.
