Bastaron veinticuatro horas para que el imperio de naipes de Lucifer Morningstar se derrumbara. El departamento de la periferia estaba helado, el desayuno que había preparado con torpeza se enfrió sobre la mesa, y la cafetería donde había creído encontrar un refugio no era más que un cascarón vacío. Su amor nunca había existido. El dulce estudiante al que le había entregado su vida no era más que el fantasma; Solo era alguien que se presentó para arrancar de raíz su corazón y dejarlo sangrando sobre las sábanas.
Lucifer se enamoró. Se enamoró perdidamente de una mentira construida con tiza, y esa entrega absoluta fue su condena.

Summary
Alastor's life is good. His true crime podcast does well enough to support him, and if there isn't any interesting murders available, he can always change that. But he knows his luck won't hold forever, so he decides to make a deal with the devil. Unfortunately for him, the spell he found was mis-transcribed, and instead of sending the demon home after making their deal, he instead binds him to Earth, trapped in a human body and nearly powerless. He'll be able to send him home, eventually, but for now he's stuck with a roommate who doesn't know how to turn the shower on and sings while he makes pancakes. It's going to be a long couple of months...
