Summary
Sir Hans Capon is sent north to assist a minor noble with a mercenary problem. Henry, sworn to his service (unofficially, of course), is sent with him as escort, companion, and poor bastard who has to keep Hans alive despite his mouth.
To uncover the mercenary leader’s plans, Hans poses as a disillusioned noble eager to turn traitor; Henry, his hired sword. The camp is violent, lawless, and crawling with danger—but the real threat comes when Henry’s loyalty is tested and Hans is forced to betray him to save them both.
What follows is rescue, ruin, and a long, brutal return home. Duty demands silence. The Church demands penance. There's no convenient time to realise you're in love and probably damned for it. There’s guilt to carry, emotional injuries that don’t heal right, and a bond between them that might already be too sacred, or too sinful, to survive the light of day.

Jayce stumbled on his own thoughts trying to find an answer. Shit. Viktor is right, he wasn’t supposed to tell Jayce his name until later in his apartment. Damn it. “Uh—“ he stalled as he tried to think of a lie. “H-Heimerdinger had mentioned you once. You’re his assistant, right? Snarky Undercity kid with an accent? Not many other people here who fit that description.”

After the Hexcore collapsed, Jayce gets sent back to where it all started, the day he met Viktor, but Viktor seems to have no recollection of him. What happens when Jayce gets another chance, knowing what he knows now.
My take on Season 2 Jayce with Season 1 Viktor until Viktor eventually remembers everything and they live happily ever after because I refuse to give these two any more sad endings!
No idea how many chapters this will have, we're just gonna roll with it until the dopamine stops.

“An interesting response. Almost as interesting as your toothbrush in Harry’s bathroom,” Kim smirks. Got him now, he thinks. Jean’s eyes narrow and his glare gets colder.
“Wow, super detective! You can tell just from two toothbrushes!” Jean says, his voice dripping in sarcasm. “I don’t know, detective. Maybe he has a secret suitor. Or maybe it is mine and I got tired of having bad breath every time I slept on my best friend’s floor. Or maybe, hear me out, he just *forgot* the entire existence of one toothbrush and came home with another!” Kim takes a step back, realizing they’re no longer talking about toothbrushes.
