Summary

Akechi was right, just at the wrong time.
The Trickster won a rigged game against all odds. And yet... The cost was far too much. The Phantom Thieves fell in the final battle against Yaldabaoth leaving Joker the only one remaining. He prevented Yaldabaoth from fusing reality and Mementos, the world was saved.
His friends, however, were gone.
In the end, given the choice to do it over again, but from the outside?
Amamiya Ren only had one thought: “Can I do it right this time around?”
Of course, new problems arise.
Not the least of which are related to his good looks, and the Trickster of this World is really cute.

“It’s all right, Shiho.” Ren kisses Shiho’s neck again. “You’re okay. Just say the word and it stops.” Her hands slide around, trailing up Shiho’s spine. “All right?”
Shiho nodded shakily. “M-Mhmm.” She hummed, lifting her legs to allow Akira to pull off her jeans, leaving her bare save for her bra and panties. Both of her eyes cracked open, meeting Akira’s. Or rather, Akira’s muscles. “C-Can I…?” She lifted a head towards Akira’s abs, and he rolled his eyes.
“Always the abs.” He said good-heartedly to Ren. “Seriously. You, Kotone, Junpei, Akihiko, Kuon, now Shiho, who’s next?” He asked, scooting closer and leaning down to put himself closer to Shiho’s face. “Go ahead, pretty girl. They feel great according to Ren.”

All three make up the same girl.Or: An AU where Ren is a girl and starts out a NERVOUS WRECK before becoming the indomitable, illustrious leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts who ends up returning to Iwatodai in 2009 to prevent a tragedy (and also cause problems by unintentionally taking a sledgehammer to timelines).

A re-imagining of Persona 3: Reload with both protagonists as twins... With a key difference allowing for a fun twist on the usual.
A MC/FeMC Twins AU with a twist: Gendeswapped/Gender-bent versions of Makoto and Kotone as the Shiomi twins instead of the standard! Makoto is still Makoto, Kotone is now Sakuya.

(This fic was inspired by A Picaresque Royal, but is not that story plus Phantom X stuff, it only borrows some concepts.)
Tags will be updated as the story progresses. As P5X isn't finished at time of writing the story may obviously deviate the further we go in to this. Also the fic is set in 2022, instead of 2016 to better fit Phantom X's more modern aspects, All characters from P5R are the same ages as they are in game, unless otherwise stated.
