"What if I help you?" Grace blurts out desperately, sweating even in the coolness of his house as his words finally manage to stop Adrian from storming out.
"What?" Adrian says after a tense moment.
"I can prove it to everyone," Grace says, his heart in his throat. "I'll - I'll make you and Rocky the most celebrated couple on Erid. I promise."
"Stupid human," Adrian hisses. "You would give up your chance for him just like that?"
"Yes," Grace says hoarsely.
"Anything for him."

Adrian does not like Grace.
Which sucks, really, since Grace loves Adrian's husband and all.

Summary
I know that Rocky should be getting tired soon; he has been refusing to sleep in order to keep watch over me, and I know it’s only a matter of time until his body gives out on him, which is when I can make my move. I’ll need to decide whether to shoot myself or overdose before he falls asleep.
Tldr: Grace is very sick and tries to kill himself to get it over with

I start to get increasingly frustrated each time I attempt to get my message across, each time it matches my speed, attempting to copy my speech each time. I let out a shrill sound as I grumble, drawing my claws back from the barrier. I stand taller, stilling my limbs before I tap as hard as I possibly can.
“Are you fucking stupid?! Behind! Behind you! I left something behind you! Just turn around! Stop fucking copying me and pay attention!”

Summary
Ever since Grace and Rocky landed on Erid, Rocky has been glued to Grace’s side, refusing to leave him alone. Grace is worried about his friend. Rocky has not even seen his mate more than a handful of times since they arrived. This is, obviously, a problem. He doesn’t want to keep Rocky away from the love of his life.
Grace isn’t as sick anymore. He doesn’t need Rocky at his side all the time. Grace will do what he has to do so that Rocky and Adrian can resume living a normal life together. So what if Grace struggles to be alone? This is for Rocky’s sake. He’ll be okay.
But Grace has severely underestimated how much he needs Rocky, and how much Rocky needs him.
