“Hi, I’m Jana. I like coffee, the color purple, making bad decisions, and humiliating myself in public.”
Jana Lidečko moves to Tokyo with her best friend, Kenta (a ghoul) so that she can work part-time & pursue her doctoral thesis.
We begin about a year after Anteiku opens with the 2 OCs living together in a tiny apartment in Prague. Jana's Phd studies take them to Tokyo where she gets her degree, works part time, and the two of them meet various TG characters and make several alliances.
Jana's job, research & studies expose her to how ghouls are treated in Tokyo vs back home, so she gets involved with the community and becomes known as a friend and ally. Some of the decisions the 2 OCs make along the way may end up backfiring.I'm writing this as if TG did not happen in a vacuum: there are communities of ghouls throughout the world living in various situations, some having it much better than those that live in and around Tokyo, some have it even worse.
I've taken the liberty to give some of the original characters other family members to fill in where it made sense.

A solution has been found, ghouls have been legalized, and amid the unrest Houji and Tatara are getting married. The wedding will be a public affair, something to make relations between humans and ghouls look good, but it doesn’t suit them. They’ll put on a show for the cameras, but behind closed doors they know what they really are, they know the nasty, awful things that they see in each other
But for now, they just need to make sure no one stabs each other at their wedding

Summary
Mairenn Hughes has been cheated on by her boyfriend. Trying to cheer her up, two of her friends introduce her to Anteiku, hoping that the place gives her some piece of mind and a reason to get out of the house more often. There she meets Koma Enji, who's willing to help her get over her heartbreak. When things escalate with her ex, her friends come up with a plan. To scare him away, they suggest for Koma live with her. Because throwing two people who get along well, but are both hopeless when it comes to love, in the same apartment for a long period of time seems like a good idea, right? Or is it a recipe for disaster?
