She tries not questioning it, it’s supposed to be like this, she thinks, no more tragedy, just normal life. And that is true for a while, with Steph and her joined at the hip and their newfound “secret” feelings for each other bringing them closer every day, she gets lost in the bliss of it all. And right when the unease starts to give away to peace, supposedly long dead girl Rachel Amber shows up at her doorstep skin and bones, sunken-eyed and just barely managing to say Steph’s name.
