Summary
Lockwood loved to sleep with Lucy, he really did.
After finally becoming a couple, Lucy began sleeping with him in his room on a regular basis. The first months weren’t easy, because how could they be when one of them, or both on especially awful nights, would wake up screaming and drenched in cold sweat and tears. But as months went by and their new reality settled in their bones like a warm cloth, the nights got better.
That is, until their first winter came and the stolen blanket arrived with it.

“Fucking Twilight Lucy?! Seriously?!” He asked in utter disbelief.
“Well, you never know if something from it might be useful, Lockwood”.
“I highly doubt it, starting with the fact that I don’t sparkle” He scoffed.
“Well, actually, we don’t know that yet. We’re just assuming the sunlight can kill you for now” George intervened.
“Let’s try it then!” She said a little too enthusiastically for Lockwood’s taste.
“Try what?!”.
“If you sparkle of course” Lucy smirked at him.

As demon slayers, injuries, no matter how small or big, are commonplace and unavoidable. Although he is a Hashira, even he is hurt sometimes. Mostly light scratches, but sometimes worse.
This is one of those times.
Her touch is gentle as she presses and prods at areas around his stomach to figure out what's wrong. He doesn't deserve this — doesn't deserve even a fraction of her careful treatment.
After setting down her tools, Kochou soothingly runs her hands — soft, yet calloused — through his hair, and it feels so warm, so comfortable, that he melts.
She pulls away too soon, and all he can think is: he doesn't deserve this, and, don’t leave.
