    "Eiji wondered how it’d feel to change it up a bit. It wouldn’t be the first time the man had influenced him to try things out; he was the reason Eiji had pierced ears now, as well as a horrendous stick and poke on his hip. As Shorter would often say, 'you live and you learn,' or however the phrase went.

    And that’s what Eiji truly felt he did with Shorter. Ash, too. He felt more alive than he ever did back in Japan, especially when they gave him so many new opportunities. All he did was live and learn, and what a privilege that was. So he took advantage of it."

    Alternatively: Shorter dyes Eiji's hair, they watch The Matrix, and Ash brings chaos to their cozy evening.

    The trio exchanged glances, eyes wide. “Kreacher.” Harry breathed. The three of them immediately scrambled towards the sound. As they approached the kitchen the boy who Kreacher had kidnapped was cursing and kicking things. “Get off of me you filthy vermin!” and “Know your place!” Harry thought the voice sounded vaguely familiar, but ignored the prickling on his spine at the sound and pressed forward.
    Harry, who was at the front of the group, swung open the kitchen door and locked eyes with familiar icy grey eyes. Overwhelmed with shock Harry muttered “Malfoy?”
