Summary
He was seventeen again. He didn’t want to be. He hated this time of his life. Yet there he was back in boot camp, listening to the drill sergeant yell instructions as aggressively as possible, the usual. Z felt terribly out of place, forced up to Georgia for the infantry portion of training. Z felt uneasy watching how the other men cheered and riled each other up. Something felt wrong, this wasn’t ever mentioned in the pamphlets and ceremonies. Despite his concern, he knew better than to question the sergeant. That never ended well.
Behind him a gunshot exploded, and an unexpected man’s voice screamed out in pain. As Z swung back around, he heard a heavy thud and saw a fellow trainee on the ground clutching his neck. Z’s breath catches in his throat watching blood spurt and pool from the wound on the man’s neck.

Z has a nightmare where he’s 17 again in boot camp, young and weak. After a series of misunderstandings Z finds himself running for his life, dodging violent men and clinging to his gun. Blood fills his mind.

Summary
ReGect is bored. He ends up wondering what Ze’s doing-who has been offline all day. Then, as always, nothing goes as planned. ReGect somehow finds himself if Ze’s home, and now they both have to deal with their own struggles. But maybe they’re no longer alone in it.
"They shot up to sit on the floor. He looked down at himself. WHAT THE FUCK. It was no longer some blocky jumbled mess, but had a more corporeal form. Still not quite “human” though. It was really fuckin strange. He had his half-torso. When he touched it he could feel it was there, just invisible. His legs were the same, one visible one not, still with the chain around his ankle. His feet looked weird and… padded? Now that he had a better look, his whole body was kinda furry. Ok, what.
ReGect was starting to feel the situation hit him and began to lose his shit. When did this happen? How did he get in this body? Is this his body? Can this be reversed? WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING??!?!?"

“I'm… okay.” He murmured to the awaiting air, forcing himself to turn his head away from his wrist. Something strange twisted in his gut.
Kenadian could barely even remember how he got in this situation. He knew there was an anonymous letter, some invitation to try and escape their classic prison puzzle, and that at some point he'd been splashed with some unknown potion (maybe something like regen?), but past that everything was fuzzy.
“I'm okay.”
Or, our favorite catboy gets stuck in a bedrock prison and doesn’t handle it very well.

Elliot's hair has always been a mess - long, tangled, curled, you name it. Sure, he's always had his dad to do it for him, but sometimes his dad isn't there and Elliot can't tie his hair himself. It's a good thing, then, that he can always go bug his older brother in everything but blood, because no matter how much Dued complains, no matter how much he struggles or tells Elliot that he can surely tie his hair on his own, he'll happily still do it with a smile on his face. Dued will always be there for Elliot, a constant in the world the same way breathing is, the same way the world is made of code. Even if Dued was hesitant at first, even if they both grow up, that constant will never waver.

Five times when Dued helped Elliot with his hair, and one time when Elliot returned the favor. (Or, five times the Builders realized they had another family member, plus one time where Dued decided that maybe, just maybe, having a family to call his own isn’t a bad thing at all.)

Spoke wants be better, he really does. But how can he do that when no one listens to him and the one person who does is living the life that he is trying to escape? Everyone looks at him and sees him not for the person he is, but the person he was and revenge against the actions of his partner.
Spoke is tired, all he wants is to see Parrot one more time without the other looking at him like he is a monster. Though Spoke supposes he is a monster, so he can't blame Parrot. Spoke is fine if people hurt him. Its only fair for what he did, Spoke just wishes someone else would be around to do so in the first place.
