I'm mostly a fanfic writer, but I'm obsessed with the question of how Panem actually works. So I sat down with maps and articles and all of my questions, and came up with this.
I have still not figured out how in the world the merchants of D12 stay in business, since no one can shop in their stores very much, including each other. It's a mystery.

Haymitch's game + the hunger games trilogy from his pov with some interludes from other characters povs (such as Peeta's time in the capital between Catching Fire and his rescue). It's really well written and has some great worldbuilding (written before Sunrise on the Reaping)
