The hero took her bag, looked in Inko’s direction — and froze.
Inko froze too, heart suddenly pounding in her chest. She took a step forward, and then another — and another. She only realized she’d basically run forward when she stopped and felt herself needing to catch her breath.
At first, she thought the hero was her husband, back from… Well, back from wherever he’d gone.
“Hisa—” His name started to form on her lips before her brain caught up with her, reminding her of how ridiculous this was.
Of course this hero couldn’t be Hisashi.

Ochako laughs nervously. “Of course,” she says, stepping closer to Bakugou. Stand down, she glares at him, tapping her fingers against her thighs in the secret language Aizawa-sensei had taught all of them back in UA. “He’s my b—”
For a moment, she considers saying boyfriend, which would be a logical excuse, but…
It’s Bakugou. She can’t picture herself dating him if he was the last man on Earth, and she’s pretty sure he feels the same way about her. Just in reverse. They’ll never be able to sell it.
“Brother,” she finishes, spinning on her heels so she doesn’t have to stare at Bakugou's face as she says it.
