Summary
Tobirama ran. It was what he did best. He ran from the family farm at sixteen, he ran from the cruelty of the world at his father's hand, he ran from loss. He isolated, he worked, and he kept moving.
When threats calling for his life start arriving at his office in the form of letters, he runs. He runs home, back to his brother, back to the farm, back to the life he'd left behind. It wasn't his idea, but he'd still followed the orders he was given to the letter.
What he hadn't accounted for in his plan was Madara, the Uchiha heir that had inherited the neighboring ranch and mended broken bridges with Hashirama in his absence. After being volunteered by his brother to help on the ranch, he wasn't really in a position to dig his heels in when he wanted to run again. This time, he was running from a renovated house and an alcholic brother that carried too many memories, instead embracing the ranching lifestyle that he'd always despised with Madara Uchiha as his boss.
He was beginning to learn the definition of helplessness.
Welcome to the Hallmark-Coded Cowboy AU TobiMada fic that no one asked for but I spent a month writing anyway.

Summary
"Tobi! I haven't heard from you in months! How are things going at the school?" Hashirama's voice was loud, even with the volume turned down on Tobirama’s phone.
"Everything is going well. I've been accepted into the Master's degree program for Organic Chemistry." He folded the bloody rag he had used to clean his newly-stitched thigh and set it into a worn duffle bag. "I spend most of my time in the lab nowadays so I haven't had much free time to call. I'm sorry, anija." Picking up his shotgun, he started the process of dismantling it on the cheap hotel bed he was sitting on so it could be properly cleaned.
"I may be able to come home sometime this summer, though.”
Or
Tobirama takes a break from hunting for a few weeks to visit his brothers. Secrets are brought to light and he finds that Hashirama’s best friend is more of a monster than he thought he was.

Summary
‘…H-how am I still alive?’ Zuko thinks.
Sokka flinches back. Whoaaa, how in Spirits name did Zuko project his voice like that? Sokka didn’t even see him move his lips.
As if he can hear Sokka’s thoughts, Zuko turns his head to look directly at him, eyes bewildered.
And this is where Sokka realises something is very, very wrong.
Two minutes later: “No way!” Sokka shakes his head wildly, just as prince jerkbender across him curses. “I’m soul bonded- To him?! No way! That’s just spirit mumbo-jumbo!!!”
-or, through some freak Spirit accident involving Zhao, the Avatar, and the continuous joke that is both their existence, Sokka and Zuko have been soul-bonded and mentally linked. Neither of them are particularly happy with this.

Summary
-This is the last book of the series LIAB, please go read the other two books before this, or you will be very confused-
Zuko has been taken by the Earth Kingdom army to who-knows-where, and Sokka is determined to get him back.
But he can’t do it alone.
With Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors by his side, Sokka is headed to Ba Sing Se to find Katara and Aang so they can go rescue his fire bender.
Things aren’t as easy as he had hoped. Corruption, lies, and unknown horrors await them inside the city’s walls. None of this is helping Sokka’s mental well-being.
Hakoda and his men face a problem of their own as Azula approaches with the intentions of making it rain fire.
Sokka and Zuko will both find themselves having to reintegrate back into a life they thought they left behind, with people they hardly remember. It isn’t easy for anyone, especially when they don’t recognize the person standing in front of them.

Summary
This is the direct continuation of the series Leaving It All Behind, if you did not read the first book I promise that you will be really confused reading this. (go read that first and then come back to this)
If you have already read LIAB, welcome back!
Zuko and Sokka have successfully escaped Zhao’s prison camp and have begun their journey across the Earth Kingdom in search of Aang or Chief Hakoda, whoever they find first. Still recovering from their experiences in captivity, both Zuko and Sokka struggle to heal from their past trauma while facing new enemies in an unfamiliar territory. Lucky for them, Sokka is full of good ideas and Zuko never gives up without a fight.
The Gaang (plus Jet) are continuing their journey to help Aang master all the elements and are faced with a few unexpected surprises.
A group of escaped prisoners tries their best to fix past mistakes and find their place in the war torn world, it doesn’t come as easy as they would have hoped.

Summary
The attack on the Northern Water Tribe goes differently, Aang and the ocean spirit don’t destroy the entire Fire Nation fleet, only most of them.
Zhao escapes, taking Sokka and a few other Water Tribe men as prisoners. Knowing Sokka is traveling with the Avatar he gets sent to Zhao’s “special prison camp” that is hidden near the Earth Kingdom colonies.
Sokka gets a taste of the real war, not the war that he thinks he knows from traveling with the Avatar. While Zhao’s prisoner, he struggles to survive the inhuman conditions. Alone and thought to be dead, he feels himself slowly losing hope.
Seeing a familiar face brings back his hope, even if that face is the scarred Prince of the Fire Nation.
Sokka and Zuko come together to survive and end up depending on each other for a lot more than they ever thought possible.
