Summary
The door swings open roughly, and Enid flies in through the threshold, clearly shoved by someone behind her. The lycan nearly loses her footing, as she turns around to slap the offender playfully.
A huge grin is plastered upon her face, and her eyes have a glassy sheen. Evidently attained after an evening spent guzzling down Irish Trash Cans.
Wednesday regards her, before catching crimson eyes peering through the cracked opening of the door.
“Make sure she drinks lots of water…
A pause, and an unrestrained giggle.
…enjoy your little leprechaun, Wednesday.”
Yoko drawls, clearly quite inebriated.

Two were Corellian whiskey, nursed slowly over the course of an evening spent sitting on the cabin's front step watching the Nevarro sky bruise from amber to violet. Three were bacta, administered by Din's steady hands after the Concordia mission, their healing warmth still faintly detectable beneath the new skin that had knitted itself over her forearm. And one was a memory; old, jagged, buried so deep beneath layers of armor and duty and years that she had almost convinced herself it had calcified into something inert.
On a night like this, she was feeling all of them.

Between casual harassment at home and trying to figure out how to make this world a safer place for androids, North is trying to figure out how to balance her own problems without lashing out. Thankfully, Markus is by her side and providing enough balance.
Nobody programmed Markus to deal with jealousy, though, and nobody programmed North to accept herself without validation from somebody else.
