He sighed again. “Come on Hollander, keep it together." he murmured, pinching his temple.
“Wanna pat on the shoulder too?” A mocking, russian accented voice cut in.
“Excuse me?” Shane turned. Annoyed and a little embarrassed because he didn’t hear anyone coming in. “What?”
He met with a smirk and a pair of playful blue eyes. The man leaned on the sink. “You looked like…” he gestured with his hands. “Hyping yourself.”
Fuck, fuck, fuck it was him.
Shane was an Alpha with no interest in Omegas of any gender. He didn't found them tempting like his friends, their sweet smell was just... sweet. So he refused invitations to parties, clubs and mixers that included him being with anyone, he hid his smell with patches to avoid offending people when they approached too.
Shane hid himself deep enough to go unnoticed and he was content with it until a pair of blue eyes landed on him, observing, tempting and wanting. He was so fucked.

Summary
After a viral photo outs Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov while they're still busy pretending their years-long situationship is mostly just sex, the fallout gets complicated fast. The world reacts badly. Their teams react worse. Ilya's future in North America starts to look alarmingly fragile, and Shane, who has never met a disaster he didn't try to control into submission, throws himself into fixing what can still be fixed.
Ilya has spent his whole life being wanted for the wrong reasons and discarded for the right ones. Shane has spent his whole life believing that if he is careful enough, good enough, controlled enough, he can keep disaster from reaching the people he loves.
A practical solution emerges, then a house, then rings.

“So what’s the plan?” Yuna asked as the four of them set up the air mattresses, putting fresh sheets on all of them and a whole horde of pillows. Old Scooby-Doo episodes were playing on the tv. “How are you going to get Roza— Ilya back?”
“He’s gonna show up to All-Stars looking like a motherfuckin’ snack,” Rose said with a grin as she flopped next to Shane, wearing a pair of his flannel pajama pants and a t-shirt from Juniors.
David snorted a little, shaking his head in amusement. “I think maybe… maybe the real question we should be asking, Shane… is are you willing to leave the Metros for him?”
Shane didn’t even have to think. “Yes.”Shane Hollander decides to stop being afraid with the help of his new best friend, Rose Landry. He also decides if he's going to ask Ilya to be with him, to give up Russia, then he can't also ask him to give up his team. He decides to reconnect with Ilya at All-Stars, not knowing that Ilya won't be there because his father, brother, and sister-in-law have died, leaving him as guardian of his niece. Oh, well. He'll just say hi to him when he gets to his first Boston Raiders practice.

Summary
The first time Cliff saw Rozy and Hollander interact was at a team-building event before practice started the next week. Cliff had introduced himself and Hollander to Rozy, but judging by Rozy's shark-like grin and Hollander's scathing glare, they had met already. The pair spent the entire evening running their mouths, trading worse and worse barbs as the night went on, spitting and snarling in English, French, and Russian indiscriminately, culminating in Hollander nearly taking a swing at Rozy. Cliff finally separated them (“take a fucking walk, Rozanov, I don't care whose fault it was, fuck!”), and mourned Boston's chances at the Cup with half a bottle of shitty Jack Daniel's later that night. So much for a cohesive team.
Or: Cliff hasn't known a minute of peace since Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov both joined the Boston Bears. This problem resolves itself in an unexpected way.

Summary
