Summary
Pian has seen battlefields before.
He has watched planets burn, buried comrades with his own hands, and worn the name Admiral Maskmana long enough that it started feeling like a sentence.
But nothing—nothing—prepared him for the sight of his daughter’s body.
Fang, sixteen, brilliant and burning and far too alive to be reduced to ash and silence.
Kaizo’s hands had been shaking when he held him. Pian remembers that much. Remembers the sound his son made—something small and broken that didn’t belong to a grown man. Remembers how the world didn’t end when it should have.
So, Pian ended it himself.
Gur’latan burned.
His Red Mask—the one he swore never to use again—answered him as if it had been waiting.
By the time he was done, nothing but destruction and blood remained.
But before the dust could even settle, the world fractures—

Summary
After the chaos of meeting their younger selves, Fang’s confidence takes a nosedive when both versions of his brother—past and present—claim and reject him in the same breath. It’s the kind of emotional whiplash that even a carrot donut can’t fully fix.
Now, Fang quietly avoids Kaizo at every turn, slipping behind Sai and Shielda whenever the Captain so much as looks his way. The twins, having heard Fang’s tearful retelling, take it upon themselves to act as his self-appointed bodyguards, donut providers, and emotional support shields.
Kaizo, meanwhile, is completely lost. His brother’s avoiding him, Sai and Shielda keep blocking every attempt to talk, and he doesn’t even know what he did wrong.
It’s not war—exactly—but it is a battle of patience, protectiveness, and sibling pride.

Fang has always been the team’s calm shadow, but beneath his composed surface, he sinks into despair. Believing his life has little value, he refuses self-harm—knowing it would hurt his friends—yet convinces himself that dying to protect them would give his life meaning. He trains to exhaustion, hides his bruises behind hollow smiles, and takes reckless risks in battle.
Boboiboy, Yaya, Gopal, and Ying begin to see the cracks—skipped meals, sleepless nights, laughter that no longer reaches his eyes. Their reminders only fuel Fang’s guilt, while Boboiboy’s growing love for him twists into frustration at being unable to tear down the walls Fang has built.
That is, until Fang collapsed with a fever, the team is shaken by the realization that they never truly saw how deeply he was hurting. They blame themselves for failing him as friends, and Boboiboy most of all feels the weight of almost losing the one he loves. The road ahead is uncertain, but amid fear and guilt, a fragile hope remains—that maybe, together, they can still show Fang his worth lies not in sacrifice, but in living.

She held out the glowing blue box and explained, “Ponyhead lent me this cool game for us to play! It’s called Truth or Punishment! She said it's all about telling your friends your deepest, darkest secrets. What better way is there to get to know each other than that?”
Marco’s brain processing skidded to a halt the moment the word “secrets” fell from her lips.
“Nonononononono, no way, I’m out- you guys can play that game if you want, but I think I’m good, thanks!” Marco blurted immediately, already rising from his seat on the pillow below him, ready to retreat to his room, “You can come get me when you’re done-”
Star grabbed his arm and pulled him back down before he could make his escape, whining, “Marco, Marco, Marco, Marcoooooo. Why don't you wanna plaaaayyyyy?”
Marco couldn’t even bring himself to meet her eyes as he mumbled out an answer, hoping Tom didn’t catch the way Marco’s eyes subconsciously flicked to him for just a second, “I just think maybe some things are better kept secrets.”
