Summary
“We need to at least try to find her. Right? This isn’t entirely normal. I think I’m right to be as worried as I am right now for her.” She was still pacing, her phone now in hand as she typed rigorously across the screen.
Mira, always the one to see reason, tried to change Zoey’s course, “But in the past she told us to just wait for her-”
“Well I’m sick of waiting, Mira! I’m tired of worrying for her like this. Most of the time if she’s not back within the hour she would say something. But she’s been radio silent ever since she left! I trust Rumi, I really do. But I don’t trust the silence. I’m worried something has happened to her and she currently lacks the ability to respond. I’m worried that she’s hurt or passed out somewhere. There are too many-”
Mira abruptly stood, her hands reaching out towards Zoey to gently grab onto her flailing arms, “Okay! Okay. Okay.” She spoke softly with a slight urgence, trying her best to soothe Zoey’s nerves a bit. It seemed to work as Zoey quickly stopped pacing and instantly looked at Mira, “Alright Zo, we’ll go out and look for her."

Summary
“We know you keep trying to hide from us when you feel a moment coming up. How you run off even when there’s nothing on your schedule. You’re kind of a bad liar honestly.” Zoey added
Rumi closed her eyes again, trying not to give out any hints for anything. There could be no more evidence of anything. Nothing else to be used against her.
God she was truly exhausted.
Hiding the truth from them about the patterns. Hiding about the truth of her episodes from Celine. Hiding about everything from practically the world.
She was just tired of hiding.
And to be honest….
She was tired of living.

Summary
“What are you doing here?” Zoey asked quietly, her eyes now brimming with tears. She couldn’t believe that Rumi was standing right in front of her. In the wedding dress shop she chose.
Rumi’s lips thinned, her eyes darting around, “I- I uhm-” She stumbled over her words as they caught in her throat, “Currently to help you pick out a dress?” It came more out as a question rather than a statement as she tumbled the words out quickly. She forgot to plan out this encounter, she only thought of mentally preparing herself so she didn’t break down in front of Zoey.
Zoey blinked, the tears not quite ready to fall, “What?”
“To help you pick out a dress.” Rumi repeated with a wavering confidence.
Zoey’s brows furrowed and her lips turned to a frown, “No.” She said quickly.
Rumi flinched, her facade faltering slightly, “Zoey-”
“No.” Zoey repeated with venom laced in her voice.
Looking at Rumi caused so much havoc in her mind. A hurricane of hate, grief, and sorrow mixed and swirled in her head. But the one that stood out the most, the one emotion that plastered red on her face was rage. Hot, distilled, boiling rage.
Or Rumi interrupts Zoey's wedding dress shopping
