Around him his brothers were fighting fun-house reflections of themselves, and Tim could hear the one causing this whole mess monologing somewhere in the background. But he still didn't know what was happening.
He did know someone was going to get punched for it.

Maybe this second chance wouldn't be so bad...

Summary
Ever since the X-Event ended, Cross has been searching for... something, though he isn't sure what. Right now, though, all he's looking for is somewhere where he can be alone. Instead, he finds himself in a broken, empty AU that looks hauntingly similar to his own universe after Timeline X. Things only get more complicated when Ink shows up. Outside from the fact that Cross hasn't quite forgiven his ex-friend yet (he wants to, but how can he, when Ink doesn't seem to care about what he did?), it's more than a little concerning that Ink seems to be trying to hide something about this AU.
As it turns out, though, that is the least of their concerns once they realize that a stray Creator has locked them in...
