    Summary

The Golden Prince left you at the altar. Now you belong to his brother.
Simon Riley—the Ghost of the North, the man who has never lost a battle—takes you as his bride to save a dying alliance. Not because he wants you. Because this is what must be done—for the sake of both kingdoms, for the fragile peace neither side can afford to lose.
He looks at you and sees the enemy. Your father’s name is written in northern blood.
And now you stand in his hall, soft and lovely and utterly out of place—a southern bride draped in silk, a political offering in the house of a man who has every reason to hate you. He is certain you are a trap. That your kindness is practiced. That your innocence is only another weapon dressed in white.
But certainty is a fragile thing.
Because Simon watches too closely. Because every silence between you feels sharpened at the edges. Because in a marriage built on old wounds and older ghosts, even the gentlest touch can begin to feel like a threat.
Now you are bound to a man who does not trust you, trapped in a court that does not want you, and learning far too quickly that peace can be just as dangerous as war.
In the North, love is not a gift.
It is something far more ruinous.

    Summary

You were so, so lonely. You worked a dead end job with no friends, no family, nobody to warm your bed when you come home. Your apartment was a void only inhabited by your empty sobbing. The world is bleak, life is bleaker. Every day was just so another repetition of agonized suffering.
And then you met him in a bar. For one hour, just one hour, you finally felt alive. Life was good. You were heard. You were listened to. You existed as a real human being after decades of depravity. Most importantly, for one entire hour on a singular Friday night, you were valued. And then, just as he arrived, he was gone, and your world returned to the same tedious shades of grey. But it hurt more. You were lonelier, sadder, degraded by joy and company. You knew what you'd been missing all your life, and you'd never have a chance to get it again.

You prayed every day that somebody, anybody, could take you away from all of your pain.

What a pity your prayer was answered.

    Summary

You are out of place and out of your element. You are sent to tend to your grandmother until the changing of the guards—just until your parents arrive. Until then, you endure the ancient cold, the dead air, the suffocating stillness of Germany. There's no Wi-Fi, no television and you hardly speak the language.

But the forest whispers. The floorboards creak. And it's so dark and cold. And you are so, so, so tired. And you don't know why. You're so tired you can't explain why things go missing. Why the window opens itself at night. Why you keep seeing a towering shadow through a sleep-filled haze at night. Why you sometimes feel the mattress shift beneath your body, but you can't find enough strength to wake.

And when Kortac Forces flood the town, Oma stops letting you out. She nails your window shut and writes to your parents immediately to come. Her voice trembles when they come to the door, and she tells you not to make a sound. To hide. To be still.

    But it's too late.

Because he is already watching you.

    And hunting you.

And you are running out of places to hide.

    Summary

On the 21st November 2023, Sergeant John "Soap" MacTavish was killed in action in the Eurotunnel, 7km off the coast of Folkestone.

Except the heavily redacted report is all a lie and the emotional scattering of his ashes is all an act.

This is the story of how he survives, how the 141 fake his death, and how he recovers - with Ghost right by his side.

A realistic fic about Soap recovering from a traumatic brain injury and discovering which parts of himself are left, and which parts Makarov stole from him. Full of hurt and comfort, angst and humour, this is a slow burn Ghost/Soap getting together fic with a happy ending.

    Summary

When Soap keeps coming back from leave covered in bruises, it's clear there's something wrong. It's down to Ghost to figure out what's going on - and how to help Soap. He's out of his depth but it becomes clear that he's Soap's only hope. Can he help him, and can Soap heal from what's been done to him?

(Spoiler alert - the answer is yes. We're all about the happy endings here, folks!)

Picks up just after the events in Verdansk, 2019, weaves through canon and ultimately serves as a fix it for the canon ending of MWIII.
