    Stephen Strange was never offered Mastery of the New York Sanctum. Instead, he somehow finds himself wandering the world, searching out magic and occasionally (usually) trouble. Although he does return to Kamar-Taj semi-regularly to teach classes and get yelled at by Wong for poor library etiquette.

    So how on earth does he keep running into Tony Stark?

    (And it's definitely not his fault that Stark is convinced that he's some sort of supervillain.)
