Apollo never really wanted to kill Achilles or Patroclus. But who is a God to defy the prayers of the people? A God is not as powerful as one would think.

One shots of my own OCs. I don't know if I'll make a full story for them or not, but I just have the urge to write some things for them. Feel free to read them, just two queer boys in the Victorian era. Classic rich/poor trope. Hopefully this isn't awful in my eyes later in life.

Deuce Spade had a plan.
It wasn’t a very good one, but it was one he came up with all by himself. And it was with this plan that he was going to woo his best friend, Ace.
But really, what is the difference between a 'plan' and a 'list of things I can do to woo my best friend, Ace'?

Summary
Every time Thetis opened her mouth, Patroclus sweated cold, knowing, sure Achilles would do something extremely stupid.
Bringing a child home, however, was a whole other level of nonsense.
"Who is he?" Patroclus asked, looking at the child sitting at the table as if it were a hallucination.
He was sure he wasn't there until last night.
"His name is Phyrrhus, he's five and he'll be living with us from today," Achille said as he finished making pancakes.
Or at least he was trying: sure as death, Patroclus wouldn't let anyone eat those glowing embers. Not even Paris would have deserved such treatment.

Summary
“When will the war not consume us?” Achilles asked.
Patroclus was silent, his chest rising and falling slowly. He almost regretted asking when he felt his hand clutch his back. “I do not know.” He finally said.
“It’s getting easier though. Maybe not everyday, but the growth is promising. I have you. I have Pyrrhus. That’s enough to keep me going. That will always be enough.”
It has been two years since the war ended, and Achilles and Patroclus are navigating their new lives in peace and as parents. But peace does not always mean freedom, because they remain to be plagued by nightmares and their trauma.
