Summary
Mira Timms, a Harvard biomedical engineering student, was inspired by the release of Chloe, the first Android to pass the Turing test. She applied to a repair tech position at the new CyberLife branch in Boston, where she met Henry Kamski, the business-savvy younger cousin of the tech genius Elijah Kamski. The pair began dating, but Henry was soon called back to Detroit to take over as CEO after Elijah resigned in 2028. Life was going well for the couple, who welcomed their first child into the world, until the first case of Deviancy in April 2034. Things went downhill from there. Henry died under mysterious circumstances, leaving Mira alone with a three-year-old son. Elijah, struggling to process his grief, created Adam, an RK500 who looks disturbingly similar to his late cousin.
The story truly begins when Adam finds a damaged Android in the trash shed. Mira repairs the PL600, who learns that she has been helping deviants cross the border. Her strong background in Android technology and her desire to see the revolution succeed could make her a powerful ally. Will Simon be able to convince Markus and the others?

"Out of nowhere, a piercing whistle rips through the air, causing both paladins to wince and cover their ears. Keith looks up, noticing the beasts wailing and shaking their heads. He takes the chance to run to Shiro's side, placing himself between the paladin and the monsters. The whistling ends, leaving behind a nearly-just-as-piercing ringing in the men's ears.
Keith saw a flash above his head, as a short, tanned girl with dark red hair landed in front of him. The beasts start coming back from the stun of the high pitched sound, growling lowly at the humans in front of them. The girl holds four long sticks, carved into spears. With two in each hand, the tips burst into flames as she threw them toward the pack. One of the beasts yelps as it gets stabbed in the side, another is hit in the leg, the others land in the gaps between the creatures, catching fully on fire and breaking up the group." -

He overextends his body a little, and Rocky learns about the limits of the human body when he collapses. then, it leads to a migraine, and Rocky has to figure out what to do.
