Summary
On Remnant, there are two kinds of people. Those with Aura, and those with marks. It is believed those who are called "Tattoos" have no souls, and are cast out of the Great Cities to live in the wilds. Yet, in only a few years it became clear that only the Tattoos could carry on the trade between the Cities that was needed.
Despite their need, Tattoos were never allowed back in the Cities, and their own towns and villages suffered from the lack of manpower needed to truly establish their own nation. Even the child of two Tattoos could have Aura, and if they did: they needed to return to a City before the Grimm attacked them.
And yet, even in the midst of such terrible circumstances, love would not let itself be snuffed out.

Summary
In 1942, the United States' Strategic Scientific Reserve began Project: REBIRTH, an attempt to create the world's first super-soldier to battle the increasing threat of the Axis powers, and especially the supernatural means of the fearsome Red Skull.
In order to ensure their first poster boy soldier would turn out well, it was decided that preliminary tests would be undertaken with personnel valued less than the standard army officer. One of these test subjects was Izuku Midoriya, a Japanese-American recently released from the Ellis Island internment camp, separated from his parents still inside.
Over the next three years, he would slowly transform from an experiment to a warrior and ultimately into the symbol of American freedom and liberty for all.
But we all know how the story of Captain America goes. We begin many years later, in the world that he left behind.
