Jackson had always seemed like an asshole, but underneath that exterior was a traumatized boy who wanted nothing more than to make everyone around him happy. Whether it be with his parents who never supported his dream of being a racer or whether it be with his boyfriend, he wanted the people around him to have the happiness that he himself couldn't seem to find.
