Summary
Natsuki Subaru, an 18-year-old teenager, suddenly finds himself in The Backrooms, a place that lies directly behind reality as we know it. No escape has been found yet, and none have dared to follow rumors of any exits. Despite this, the relative peace of the inhabitants is about to get shaken up, as major factions start making moves and the fabric of reality itself starts to unravel. Now, it's up to Subaru to find a way to stop this calamity or die trying. And one of those options isn't working correctly.

It didn't take long after the events of the Sanctuary for Subaru to find himself unable to fall asleep. Things between him and his contracted spirit were going well, but as unfortunate as it was, the adorable spirit didn't have a magic spell to cure insomnia.
The exhaustion and struggles born from the lack of sleep, along with the shame of bothering everyone else with it, made him choose a way out he normally wouldn't have ever considered.
Peaceful nights is all he asks for, I suppose!
