Summary
When a human head of state publicly insults the ancient Vampire King, the price of peace is a political union. An alternate timeline for the two of them to make or break, diverging from after episode 4 of the first season, serving as a sort of parallel fix-it to the series.
Told in 7 parts with varying perspectives, the installments work as stand-alone pieces but it is encouraged that the series be read in the order it was posted, easily moving between both series with end-note navigation. It is decidedly happy ending, a scrapbook of snapshots from Shane and Ilya's life finally being as close to together as they can manage and carving out some semblance of a shared future over a roughly six-year timeline.
