She stood now at the gate of the guild's outer training yard with a basket of cold water and a small towel that Mira had pressed into her hands with an expression that was entirely too knowing, and she watched Gray finish the last of his warm-up routine and tried to remember how to exist as a person.
He was not doing anything overly special. That was perhaps the most devastating part of it. He was simply standing there in the golden morning light with his arms raised above his head in a long, unhurried stretch, and his back was to her, and Juvia's entire mouth went dry as her imagination ran wild.
