Mika is now a full vampire, but he isn't fully ready to accept that, especially not when it comes to drinking blood.
He's reluctant at best, completely unwilling most the time, and suffering because of it.But Yuu can't watch his closest friend go through that, so he makes sure to help him by offering his blood to Mika.
Eventually, he realises why he enjoys the feeling of Mika's teeth against his neck so much. -

Yuu can’t find Mika.
He’d left on his own an hour ago to find firewood. Hadn’t returned.
It was dark.
“Fuck,” Yuu hisses. He stumbles through the woods blindly, the only light available to him the beam of a dying flashlight Kimizuki had found. “Shit. Fuck. MIKA!”
He should’ve noticed. He should’ve gone looking for Mika earlier.

Summary
Mika notices that Yuu’s neck is littered with many bite marks from past feedings, and feels guilty about that. In consequence, when Yuu notices he’s thirsty, Mika refuses to drink. But he needs to drink to survive. So what does Yuu do? He offers Mikaela his thighs.

A pause, in which Mika scrambles for any sort of reply– what brought this up; I’ve drank blood from you before, don’t you remember; very sharp, why are you asking?– but before he can settle on a definitive answer Yuu clears his throat and adds, almost hesitantly, “I’m a visual learner. By the way.”
