the door slammed shut as shane kicked off his shoes and chucked them to an empty cabinet nearby. life had felt unusually weird lately but every time he had gotten that feeling, he would just shake it off as stress or whatever was hitting him that day. although ilya was worried for shane, he never thought much of it until it started impacting his performance on and off the ice. it had gotten to the point where shane would feel like he was in pain in certain areas of his body even if there were no injuries. it had become more constant recently, he had been meaning to see a doctor for it.
